First half of May, Okra, Calamondin, Egg Plant, Potatoes and Spaghetti Squash

May 18th, 2012

Just a nice picture of an Okra flower.

The first spaghetti squash is getting pretty large. Hopefully we will be able to harvest it soon.

It really is amazing how heat tolerant beets are. They are still going strong.

Some of the jalapeƱos are starting to turn red. They tasted good when they were green, but we will see in the near future how they taste red.

The calamondin tree is starting to put on a lot of little fruits.

The egg plants are starting to get pretty large also.

This retarded spaghetti squash decided to grow all the way up the tomatoes, and then produce a fruit right on the top…

The first okra is starting to form.

This is 2 Brussels sprouts harvested and pilled up, with the glass there as a size reference.

There was a sale on potatoes at the grocery store so I bought a lot, turns out that I bought way to many and they started to grow in the closet. So I decided to plant them and see if they would continue to grow. I put another layer of dirt over them to make sure they were all covered after this picture.

These pictures are from 5/13 – 5/19
